Bjørn Lindow was born in 1967 between the tall mountains surrounding the Arctic town of Narvik, but have migrated south to live and work in Gothenburg in Sweden.
He is an independent artist whithout any links to the established art scene.
His works are in neoclassical style. Lindow uses both European naturalism and later pop-art mass culture as inspiration, together with the violent sagas about the Wikings.
The artist is fascinated by the breathtaking nature in the Arctic, the flora and the fauna, and the folklore about trolls becoming mountains at sunrise.
The pictures are painted in acryl, a technique well suited for Lindow’s detailled style.
For some time, he also delivered courtroom scetches to Swedish TV 4.
